Satellite 6 Component Versions

Identify the Satellite 6 Version running

  • To identify the Satellite version that you have currently installed. The following methods can be used:

  1. Before you log into the Satellite Server using the web UI at the fully qualified domain name (FQDN), version information is displayed (unless disabled via settings):
    --> https://fqdn/users/login

  2. If you are already logged into Satellite Server, you can visit the Satellite About Page:
    --> https://fqdn/about

  3. If on the console, you can check the version by checking rpm version. Use the following command:

     rpm -qa | egrep -i "satellite"
