Restarting squid results in all files deleted in pre-beta release of RHEL

Introduction

An issue was reported where restarting squid resulted in all files being deleted on the hard drive.

Impact

This issue should not affect any systems, as it was found in an internal version of squid that was not released to RHN or any customers; Red Hat's Quality Engineering team discovered this flaw before it was released, as documented under This content is not included.BZ 1202858, and no customers should have ever encountered this issue. To repeat, this issue was only found in an internal build of squid that was never released.
