Deprecation of Red Hat Runtimes product container images in the Red Hat Container Catalog

Red Hat Runtimes components in the Extended Life Support phase of their support lifecycle are marked as Deprecated in the Red Hat Container Catalog. These container images will continue to receive maintenance as defined by the lifecycles of the multiple Red Hat products and components delivered in the container. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenJDK components in the container image will continue to receive regular updates to incorporate all fixes provided by those components. During the ELS-1 lifecycle phase, the Runtimes components of the container images will deliver critical impact security fixes and selected urgent-priority bug fixes. No updates to Runtimes components are provided during the ELS-2 lifecycle phase.
