EAP 8+ / EAP 7+ / EAP 6.2+ Individual Patch Policy

If a product issue requires a code change, the change will be rolled into the next possible cumulative patch release.

Additionally, an individual patch may be provided in accordance with these provisions being met:

• the issue in question is a critical production issue
• the issue is not already fixed in a cumulative patch release
• there are no reasonable workarounds
• there are no other individual patches in use

All individual patches will be supported for up to two subsequent releases of cumulative patches that contain the fix. Movement to a containing cumulative patch is expected beyond that point with the latest being heavily recommended.
