Data Grid in Runtimes

Data Grid and its capabilities are critical for customers when fulfilling speed, latency, availability, and cost requirements for both traditional and cloud native applications. In addition, JBoss EAP and the Red Hat Build of Keycloak have a dependency on Data Grid or its upstream project Infinispan. Data Grid is expected to remain a component of the middleware bundles for the foreseeable future.

Data Grid is trusted by many customers to run their mission critical applications and the product team will continue to invest in Data Grid to ensure it keeps pace with OpenShift, Java SE, the middleware portfolio, and operating system updates. Infinispan will keep receiving new features and as always Red Hat will determine which features of Infinispan will be supported in Data Grid based on market demand.
