Resource Requirements for Syncing Automation Content

Prerequisites

Before you can sync collections to your private automation hub (a component of your Ansible Automation Platform), you must configure your private automation hub to communicate with the automation hub Ansible service on console.redhat.com. You can do that by following the steps in our product documentation: Configure Ansible automation hub remote repositories to sync content. Then, create a requirements file to specify the collections you want to sync.

When you are ready to sync collections, consult the metrics below to understand what resources you will need to sync successfully.

Note that we do not recommend syncing all community collections at once, as this requires a lot of time and space, and community collections are not reviewed or vetted by Red Hat. The metrics below represent the maximum resource requirements needed for any syncing process; use these metrics as a reference for your own purposes.
