Updated boost packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
Boost provides free peer-reviewed portable C++ source libraries, with emphasis on libraries which work well with the C++ Standard Library.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Prior to this update, the cyclic redundancy check (CRC) was not correctly computed on 64-bit architectures during decompression of gzip archives. In this update, constant-width integer types are used to compute CRC to make the results stable across all architectures. (BZ#723503)
Users of Boost are advised to upgrade to these updated packages which fix this bug.
