Updated xorg-x11-drv-nouveau packages that fix one bug and add one enhancement are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The xorg-x11-drv-nouveau utility provides the Xorg X11 Nouveau video driver for NVIDIA graphics chipsets.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Prior to this update, one process was used to scan for all defects. As a result, xorg-x11-drv-nouveau packages did not build without patches against its supporting components. This update scans defects in downstream patches separately. Now, the packages build as expected when not all downstream patches are present. (BZ#708500)

This update also adds the following enhancement:

• This update adds the updated Xorg Nouveau driver for NVIDIA GeForce/Quadro hardware to the xorg-x11-drv-nouveau package. (BZ#713768)

All users of the Xorg x11 Nouveau driver, are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug and add this enhancement.
