Updated php53 packages that fix two bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language commonly used with Apache HTTP Server.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• If a negative array index value was sent to the var_export() function, the function returned an unsigned index ID. With this update, the function has been modified to process negative array index values correctly. (BZ#700724)

• Previously, subpackages of the php53 package did not contain the "Provides" definition corresponding to the definitions of the php package. This update adds the missing "Provides" definitions for these subpackages. (BZ#717158)

All users of php53 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which contain backported patches that fix these bugs. The httpd daemon must be restarted in order for these changes to take effect.
