Updated curl packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

cURL is a tool for getting files from HTTP, FTP, FILE, LDAP, LDAPS, DICT, TELNET, and TFTP servers, using any of the supported protocols. cURL offers many useful capabilities, such ass proxy support, user authentication, FTP upload, HTTP post, and file transfer resume.

These updated curl packages include numerous bug fixes and enhancements. Space precludes documenting all of these changes in this advisory. Users are directed to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 Technical Notes for information on the most significant of these changes:

Users of curl are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements. All running applications using libcurl must be restarted for the update to take effect.
