Updated fence-agents packages that fix two bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
Red Hat fence agents are a collection of scripts for handling remote power management for cluster devices. They allow failed or unreachable nodes to be forcibly restarted and removed from the cluster.
This update fixes the following bugs:

Previously, when fencing a Red Hat Enterprise Linux cluster node with the fence_soap_vmware fence agent, the agent terminated unexpectedly with a traceback if it was not possible to resolve a hostname of an IP address. With this update, a proper error message is displayed in the described scenario. (BZ#908409)

Due to incorrect detection on newline characters during an SSH connection, the fence_drac5 agent could terminate the connection with a traceback when fencing a Red Hat Enterprise Linux cluster node. Only the first fencing action completed successfully but the status of the node was not checked correctly. Consequently, the fence agent failed to report successful fencing. When the "reboot" operation was called, the node was only powered off. With this update, the newline characters are correctly detected and the fencing works as expected. (BZ#908401)
All users of fence-agents are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
