Updated libcgroup packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The libcgroup packages provide tools and libraries to manage and monitor control groups.

This update fixes the following bug:

  • The code in the cg_get_pid_from_flags() function assumed that every entry in the /etc/cgrules.conf configuration file had specified the process name. This caused the cgred service to terminate unexpectedly with a segmentation fault if the entry in the /etc/cgrules.conf file did not specify the process name. This update allows the code to accept empty process names and the cgred service no longer crashes. (BZ#913282)

Users of libcgroup are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
