Updated xorg-x11-drv-synaptics packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The xorg-x11-drv-synaptics packages contain the X.Org X11 input drivers for Synaptics touchpads.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Previously, the synaptics driver scaled input coordinates based on the device resolution. Consequently, the X server could not apply the uniform resolution-based scaling for other devices in relative mode. The synaptics driver has been fixed to apply the scaling feature only if the X server does not support the per-device resolution scaling. (BZ#988174)

Users of xorg-x11-drv-synaptics are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
