Updated net-snmp packages that fix several bugs and add two enhancements are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The net-snmp packages provide a generic client library, a suite of command-line tools, an extensible SNMP agent, Perl modules, and Python modules to use and deploy the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

These updated net-snmp packages include numerous bug fixes and enhancements. Space precludes documenting all of these changes in this advisory. Users are directed to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 Technical Notes for information on the most significant of these changes:

All net-snmp users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.
