Updated perl-WWW-Curl packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The perl-WWW-Curl packages provide a Perl extension interface for libcurl.

This update fixes the following bug:

  • Previously, accessing the value of the CURLINFO_PRIVATE option caused a program to terminate unexpectedly with a segmentation fault. This update fixes this by ensuring that CURLINFO_PRIVATE is an accessible scalar string. As a result, programs can now access CURLINFO_PRIVATE as expected. (BZ#984894)

Users of perl-WWW-Curl are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
