Updated glusterFS, native client and redhat-storage-server packages that fix various bugs, are now available for Red Hat Storage 3.0.

Description

Red Hat Storage is a software only scale-out storage solution that provides flexible and affordable unstructured data storage. Red Hat Storage 3.0 unifies data storage and infrastructure, increases performance, and improves availability and manageability to meet enterprise-level storage challenges.

This advisory also addresses the following bugs:

  • Previously, during the Rebalance process, some files were not migrated from the removed brick. This behavior was observed intermittently. With this fix, a warning message is displayed to inform the system administrator to check for such files on the removed brick and manually move them to the glusterFS mount point. (BZ#1136711)

  • With this release, issues related to Snapshot and Rebalance are fixed. A few important logging related bugs are also addressed. The details of these fixes can be found in the bugs listed below.
