Updated redhat-storage-server, samba, glusterfs, and augeas-libs packages that fix multiple bugs are available for Red Hat Storage 3.

Description

Red Hat Storage is a software only scale-out storage solution that provides flexible and affordable unstructured data storage. Red Hat Storage 3 unifies data storage and infrastructure, increases performance, and improves availability and manageability to meet enterprise-level storage challenges.

This advisory also addresses the following issues:

  • Higher versions of 'samba', 'glusterfs', and 'augeas-libs' packages was released in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6. This caused package dependency conflicts with the same packages in Red Hat Storage 3 which is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5. Hence, this resulted in update failure for the currently installed Red Hat Storage 3 and layered installation failure of freshly installed Red Hat Storage 3. With this update, these package dependency conflicts are resolved and the layered installation of Red Hat Storage 3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 is successful.(BZ#1154752, BZ#1154753,BZ#1154754)

  • With this update, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 product certificate is provided with the 'redhat-storage-server' package.(BZ#1159273)

Users of Red Hat Storage are advised to upgrade to these updated packages which fix these issues.
