Updated icu packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The International Components for Unicode (ICU) library provides robust and full-featured Unicode services.

This update fixes the following bug:

  • Previously, during the rebuild process of the icu source package, two-digit format was used for calendar year in the test case and was not interpreted correctly. As a consequence, the year 2034 was displayed instead of year 1934 causing the check of the test case to fail. A patch has been applied to fix this bug and the check no longer fails. (BZ#1176177)

Users of icu are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
