Updated xorg-x11-drv-mga packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The xorg-x11-drv-mga packages provide a video driver for Matrox G-series chip sets for the X.Org implementation of the X Window System.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Previously, the mga driver used the default color depth of 16 bpp regardless of the configuration. Consequently, it was impossible to run the X server with a custom color depth such as 24 or 32 bpp. With this update, the mga driver honors the configuration properly, and as a result, the desired color depth is used. (BZ#1177095)

Users of xorg-x11-drv-mga are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
