Updated libunwind packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The libunwind packages contain a C API to determine the call chain of a program. This API is necessary for compatibility with Google Performance Tools (gperftools).

This update fixes the following bug:

• Because of incorrect release numbering of the libunwind packages, updating libunwind sometimes failed due to a version conflict. With this update, the epoch number of libunwind downloaded from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux repository has been increased to make sure it is always considered a more recent version than libunwind from the Extra Packages repository. As a result, version conflicts are avoided, and the described failure no longer occurs. (BZ#1289950)

Users of libunwind are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
