Updated selinux-policy packages that fix two bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Description
The selinux-policy packages contain the rules that govern how confined processes run on the system.
This update fixes the following bugs:

Previously, SELinux did not allow the lldpad daemon to send information to the VDSM service. As a consequence, VDSM lacked information from lldpad. This update allows the virtd_t SELinux domain to send information to the lldpad_t domain via a dgram socket. As a result, VDSM labeled as virtd_t can now communicate with lldpad labeled as lldpad_t. In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4, the Tomcat server was not running unconfined, and SELinux security policy was enforced by SELinux. As a consequence, Tomcat failed to start through the tomcat-jsvc service due to SELinux. This update allows the tomcat_t SELinux domain to use the dac_override, setuid, kill capability rules. As a result, Tomcat starts correctly through tomcat-jsvc service with SELinux in enforcing mode. (BZ#1485308)
Users of selinux-policy are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
