Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform release 3.7.62 is now available with updates to packages and images that fix several bugs.

Description

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is Red Hat's cloud computing Kubernetes application platform solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

This advisory contains the RPM packages for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.7.62. See the following advisory for the container images for this release:

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • Groups associated with a user were not previously checked when performing access checks to look up the readiness of objects created by templates. This resulted in a readiness failure at the template instance level. This bug fix passes the user's groups when performing the readiness check operation, not just when performing the object creation. (BZ#1610991)

  • Previously, clusters running with OpenStack cloud integration had nodes removed when the corresponding instance was stopped. This bug fix prevents node resources whose instances are stopped from being removed from the cluster. (BZ#1614849)

All OpenShift Container Platform 3.7 users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.
