Updated Satellite 6.4 packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • The foreman-installer --reset command did not delete local Mongo 3.4 database. This is now fixed. (BZ#1636328)

  • Creating a host was failing with the following error: "Invalid single-table inheritance type: Host::Discovered is not a subclass of Host::Managed". This is now fixed. (BZ#1638403)

  • The hammer hostgroup info --output json command was returning json that included non-unique keys. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646733)

  • Upgrading from 6.3.4 to 6.4 was failing on the foreman-rake katello:import_subscriptions step. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646739)

  • Non-admin users were unable to view audits for Katello and taxable resources that were created by the admin using the Any Location context. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646740)

  • During an upgrade from Satellite 6.3 to 6.4, the satellite-installer tool did not perform remove_legacy_mongo step in some situations which resulted in errors. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646741)

  • When using a custom user with a custom role, the config group failed with the following error "Stack level too deep". This is now fixed. (BZ#1646742)

  • Ansible processes were being killed when logrotate runs for smart_proxy_dynflow_core. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646745)

  • When creating a realm, then kickstarting a new host, the new host was not joining the realm. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646747)

  • While upgrading to Satellite 6.4 failed on script 20180516103339_update_idm_params.rb. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646748)

  • When using the API, adding search for lifecycle_environment or lifecycle_environment_id to a role host filter with the view_hosts permission did not construct an SQL query. This is now fixed. (BZ#1646755)

  • Upgrading from 6.4.0 to 6.4.1 failed at Upgrade Step: remove_legacy_mongo. This is now fixed. (BZ#1651960)

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
