Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform release 3.9.65 is now available with updates to packages and images that fix several bugs.

Description

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is Red Hat's cloud computing Kubernetes application platform solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

This advisory contains the RPM packages for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.9.65. See the following advisory for the container images for this release:

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • We currently compute the number of fluentd outputs in the start-up script run.sh. When the forward plug-in is configured, it was not correctly counted. Therefore, some output is missed when the forward plug-in is configured. The number of output is used for calculating the file buffer size and the size gets larger than expected. The logic of the calculation was fixed to include the forward plug-in case. The correct output number and the correct file buffer size is now derived when the forward plug-in is configured.   • The openshift_facts Ansible module was improperly setting internal variables used for installing examples and templates. The boolean logic is now updated to correctly identify the current version being installed. (BZ#1612142)

All OpenShift Container Platform 3.9 users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.
