RHBA-2019:1559 - Bugfix and enhancement update of conversion host packages
Synopsis
Bugfix and enhancement update of conversion host packages
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory None
Topic
Updated versions of conversion host packages are available.
Description
v2v-conversion-host is an Ansible role and daemonizing virt-v2v wrapper that turns a Red Hat Virtualization host into a conversion host for CloudForms migration.
Changes to the v2v-conversion-host component:
-
Previously, migration failed with an XDG_RUNTIME_DIR error in the virt-v2v log. The current release fixes this error by dropping XDG_RUNTIME_DIR from the environment. (BZ#1700461)
-
Previously, when converting virtual machines to Red Hat Virtualization using the SSH method, the SSH wrapper used the root SSH key instead of the VDSM user's SSH key. This bug is now fixed. (BZ#1707983)
