Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform release 4.1.7 is now available with updates to packages and images that fix several bugs.

Description

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is Red Hat's cloud computing Kubernetes application platform solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

This advisory contains the RPM packages for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.1.7. See the following advisory for the container images for this release:

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • In Cincinnati instances, duplicate edges were allowed via Quay labels, resulting in duplicate updates available in the cluster. Now, pre-existing edges are skipped when processing edge labels and no more duplicate edges are present in the cluster. (BZ#1683491)

  • The CatalogSourceConfig and OperatorSource Custom Resource Definitions (CRD) were missing the openapi definition fields. As a result, oc explain operatorsource and oc explain catalogsourceconfig had empty descriptions. Now, the CRDs have been updated with the spec.validation.openAVIC3Schema.description and are described correctly with the oc explain command. (BZ#1708503)

All OpenShift Container Platform 4.1 users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages and images.
