Updated Satellite 6.5 packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • The hammer discovery provision command was not working with the --parameters option. (BZ#1756042)
  • The foreman-rake ldap:refresh_usergroups command on the CLI was not working. (BZ#1756043)
  • Improvements were made to the errata search feature in the Manage Errata window. (BZ#1756044)
  • Exporting the Default Organization View 1.0 Content View was failing. (BZ#1756045)
  • The pxeboot images were failing to download with the following error: Error -3 while decompressing: incorrect header check. (BZ#1756047)
  • Publishing and promoting large Docker repositories in a Content View was taking a long time. (BZ#1756048)
  • Registration was failing for hosts without the dmi.system.uuid fact set. (BZ#1756049)
  • After upgrading to Red Hat Satellite 6.5, Red Hat Insights inventory was breaking for large environments. (BZ#1756050)
  • The CDN URL was breaking during an update. (BZ#1756054)
  • Host registration is now possible for unregistered hosts with DMI UUID values that have changed. (BZ#1756056)
  • The default setting has been changed so that during host registration a host can steal the profile of an existing host as long as the DMI UUID remains unique. (BZ#1756057)
  • It is now possible to use a host parameter to override the dmi.system.uuid fact. (BZ#1757091)

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
