Updated Satellite 6.6 packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • A full Capsule synchronization was not fixing the broken repository metadata and the following error occurred: "undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass". (BZ#1769893)
  • A problem was causing rotated and deleted log files to remain open until Capsule was restarted. (BZ#1769894)
  • Parameters were converted from type string to boolean, including the value. (BZ#1769897)
  • Users were unable to register a host with bonded primary interface. (BZ#1769898)
  • Deleted log files were remaining open until the respective service was restarted. (BZ#1769906)
  • The foreman-rake katello:reimport command was failing with the following error: 'NoMethodError: undefined method `pulp2_service_class' for nil:NilClass'. (BZ#1771555)

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
