A new multi-cloud-object-gateway-cli package is now available for Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage 4.2 on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.2.10 and later.

Description

The MultiCloud Object Gateway provides a lightweight object store service, based on the NooBaa project. It connects to backing storage automatically and can easily scale on-premise, create hybrid cloud and multicloud storage, based on native cloud storage.

This enhancement update adds the Multicloud Object Gateway command-line interface, a tool that helps administrators to manage the deployment and second-day operations for the object service, such as adding backing stores, managing bucket claims, and setting mirroring and multicloud policies via bucket classes. It provides a friendly interface and produces YAML files for the operator in the background.
