Updated Red Hat Gluster Storage client packages are now available on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

Description

Red Hat Storage is software-only, scale-out storage that provides flexible and affordable unstructured data storage for an enterprise. GlusterFS, a key building block of Red Hat Storage, is based on a stackable user-space design and can deliver exceptional performance for diverse workloads. GlusterFS aggregates various storage servers over network interconnects into one large, parallel network file system.

  • With Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.5 Batch Update 1, native client packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 have been provisioned in the Red Hat Common channel. This enables the availability of Red Hat Gluster Storage volumes on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 machines. (BZ#1775539)

Users of Red Hat Gluster Storage are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.
