Synopsis

Bug Fix Advisory None
Topic
An update for WALinuxAgent is now available in the Extras channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Description
The Windows Azure Linux Agent supports provisioning and running Linux virtual machines in the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud.
Bug fix:
- Previously, Gen2 virtual machines (VMs) could not be started in Azure due to missing resource disk support. This update adds the missing support, and users can now create Gen2 VMs in Azure as expected.(BZ#1714167)
Users of Windows Azure Linux Agent are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes these bugs and adds these enhancements. The package should be installed on Linux disk images that are built to run in the Windows Azure environment.
