Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory None
Topic
Custom Metrics Autoscaler Operator for Red Hat OpenShift bug fixes.
The most recent release of Custom Metrics Autoscaler Operator for Red Hat OpenShift, version 2.12.1-376, introduced a regression where time zone data files are missing in the container images. These files are required for correct operation of the cron scaler. This release adds the files to correct the defect.
Description
The Custom Metrics Autoscaler Operator for Red Hat OpenShift is an optional operator, based on the Kubernetes Event Driven Autoscaler (KEDA), which allows workloads to be scaled using additional metrics sources other than pod metrics.
The following bug has been fixed: custom-metrics-autoscaler-rhel8-operator:2.12.1-376 is missing files in /usr/share/zoneinfo from tzdata causing cron triggers with timezone set to fail
This release is based upon KEDA 2.12.1
