An updated xorg-x11-drv-mga package that adds various enhancements is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The xorg-x11-drv-mga package is a video driver for Matrox G-series chipsets for the X.Org implementation of the X Window System.

This update introduces the following enhancements:

• The xorg-x11-drv-mga package now supports the Matrox MGA-G200ER graphics card found in servers and integrated management consoles. (BZ#672813)

• The xorg-x11-drv-mga package now supports the Onboard Matrox graphics controller found in Dell PowerEdge servers. (BZ#660630)

• With this update, the xorg-x11-drv-mga package provides an update to the IMMv2 management controller for the integrated Matrox G200 graphics card series. These devices are now fully compatible with the X Window System in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. (BZ#674556)

All xorg-x11-drv-mga users should upgrade to this updated package, which adds these enhancements.
