Updated xorg-x11-drv-mga packages that add an enhancement are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The xorg-x11-drv-mga packages provide a video driver for Matrox G-series chipsets for the X.Org implementation of the X Window System.

This update adds the following enhancement:

• RandR 1.2 support for G200-based graphics chipsets has been added. It allows dynamic reconfiguration of display settings to match the currently plugged in monitor. This is particularly important on servers, as they often start with no monitor attached, having it attached later in runtime. (BZ#657580)

All users of xorg-x11-drv-mga are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which add this enhancement.
