These client-side tools are offered as a Technology Preview, and include the following components and associated run-time dependencies:

collectd fluentd sensu

This update addresses the following issues:

Previously, when the gnocchi API was used instead of the ceilometer API, the oschecks-check_ceilometer_api check showed a traceback instead of a reasonable message. Consequently, the check would report an inaccurate state. With this update, checks now report a WARNING with a reasonable message, instead of a CRITICAL with traceback. (BZ#1393328)
Previously, during connection problems, the nova_api check would display a traceback instead of a clear message. With this update, the check now shows a clear message when there is a connection problem. (BZ#1393441)
Previously, during connection problems, the glance_api check would display a traceback instead of a clear message. With this update, the check now shows a clear message when there is a connection problem. (BZ#1393456)
Previously, during connection problems, the neutron_api check would display a traceback instead of a clear message. With this update, the check now shows a clear message when there is a connection problem. (BZ#1393457)
Previously, during connection problems, the cinder_api check would display a traceback instead of a clear message. With this update, the check now shows a clear message when there is a connection problem. (BZ#1393461)
