Updated vdsm packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available.

Description

VDSM is a management module that serves as a Red Hat Virtualization Manager agent on Red Hat Virtualization Host or Red Hat Enterprise Linux hosts.

Changes to the vdsm component:

  • Testing whether the live merge operation completed successfully was incorrect. Live merge was detected as complete before the operation fully completed. This caused the live merge operation to get get stuck and pause the virtual machine.

This update ensures the live merge completion is tested using the libvirt xml to ensure the operation completes successfully. (BZ#1449634)

  • This update makes it easier to debug a disk snapshot's live deletion failures because the initial state of the volume chain is logged. (BZ#1450646)
