RHEA-2017:2365 - new package: python-paramiko
Synopsis
new package: python-paramiko
Type/Severity
Product Enhancement Advisory None
Topic
A new python-paramiko package is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.
Description
The python-paramiko package provides a Python module that implements the SSH2 protocol for encrypted and authenticated connections to remote machines. Unlike SSL, the SSH2 protocol does not require heirarchical certificates signed by a powerful central authority. The module is for Python version 2.3 or later.
This enhancement update adds the python-paramiko package to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. (BZ#1448273)
Users of python-paramiko are advised to install this package.
