Description

The Red Hat Virtualization Manager is a centralized management platform that allows system administrators to view and manage virtual machines. The Manager provides a comprehensive range of features including search capabilities, resource management, live migrations, and virtual infrastructure provisioning.

The Manager is a JBoss Application Server application that provides several interfaces for accessing and interacting with the virtual environment, including an Administration Portal, a User Portal, and a Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API).

Changes to the ovirt-engine component:

  • With this update, the bug that caused dragging and dropping vNUMA to NUMA nodes to not work when using Internet Explorer 11 has been fixed. (BZ#1486565)

  • Previously, when a template was the base template it was always enforced that it must be imported as a clone. This meant that if a virtual machine that was based on the base template was imported then the virtual machine would also be imported as a clone. Now, the way clone enforcing is detected has been corrected so that base templates are not artificially enforced to be imported as clones. (BZ#1485804)

  • With this update, a regression bug that caused system events to be sorted chronologically with the earliest events at the top has been fixed. Now, events are correctly sorted with the latest events at the top. (BZ#1486513)
