Updated vdsm packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available.

Description

VDSM is a management module that serves as a Red Hat Virtualization Manager agent on Red Hat Virtualization Host or Red Hat Enterprise Linux hosts.

Changes to the vdsm component:

  • This update fixes an issue where 'after_vm_pause' VDSM hooks were not executed after I/O errors. (BZ#1546967)

  • This update fixes an issue where cold merges would fail if there was a leaked cluster in a base image. Now leaked clusters are identified and handled to ensure that cold merges will succeed. (BZ#1548436)

  • Previously if the VDSM task execution queue became full under extreme load, the host monitoring task was never rescheduled again, so the host statistics were no longer updated. This issue has been fixed in this update. (BZ#1544681)
