Topic

Updated ovirt-host packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available.

Description

The ovirt-host package consolidates host package requirements into a single meta package.

Changes to the ovirt-host component:

  • katello-agent is now installed by default on Red Hat Virtualization and Red Hat Virtualization Hosts (RHVH) and is included in the RHVH image.

Katello Agent sends information about installed rpms to Satellite. (BZ#1425032)

  • A new package ovirt-host has been provided. The package is a meta-package, and pulls all dependencies required to run as a Red Hat Virtualization hypervisor. (BZ#1460708)

  • The ipa-client package is now installed on hosts by default and is included in Red Hat Virtualization Host.

IPA Client allows integration of Cockpit certificate signing and SSO with Red Hat IdM, and adds the host to the IdM realm. (BZ#1490041)

Solution
