Red Hat CVSS v3 Score Explanation
During our testing, the impact was limited to an out-of-bounds read, thus confidentiality, integrity, and availability have been set to low, although it's currently unknown how exactly memory could be returned to the attacker. Additionally, an attacker would need a way to trick a CUPS system into loading a specially crafted PPD file and subsequently use certain API calls on it. Thus, at least access complexity has been set to high.
