Web connectors sometimes never start when using WAIT_FOR_BEFORE_START

Environment

• JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.x

Issue

• When we set WAIT_FOR_BEFORE_START, sometimes we see the web connectors never start. We see messages that the connectors have initialized and that the server has started, but we don't see a messaged saying the connectors have started and JBoss won't accept any connections.

Resolution

• Await a fix in a later release (EAP 6.3.3 and 6.4.0)

Root Cause

• This content is not included.BZ-1164391
• The WAIT_FOR_BEFORE_START functionality uses a listener to react to application deployment events. A timing issue can result in the listener not being properly added. Thus, the connectors are never started in response to the application deployments.
