Resolution
The steps for adding a new cluster node to an existing cluster is outlined in the following document:

Note: If GFS2 filesystem is used in the environment, then after adding the node in existing cluster, follow the steps in After adding a new node to the Pacemaker cluster, GFS2 filesystem is not getting mounted on the newly added node.
