"Next Execution" link in "Scheduled Operations" portlet is not correct

Solution Unverified - Updated

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (JON) 3.3.1
  • Schedule operation that will be invoked now and later for the auto group - for instance navigate to RHQ Storage Node resource -> Keyspaces -> rhq -> ColumnFamilies -> Operations -> Schedules and create a new Force Major Column Family Compaction that will be run now and repeated every 7 days.
  • Add new portlet Scheduled Operations into default JBoss ON Dashboard;
  • Hover above or click on Next Execution date/time link in the Scheduled Operations portlet;

Issue

  • Next Execution link in Scheduled Operations portlet is not correct;
  • On the rhq column families autogroup I have the task scheduled which can be seen in the Scheduled Operations portlet on the dashboard as well - but clicking on one sends me briefly (1/10 sec) to the same url then immediately to another a generic one: This content is not included.jon-server-ip:7080/coregui/#Inventory with popup message resource group not found;
  • Incorrect URL in Scheduled Operations portlet will show the message Group with id [10031] does not exist or is not accessible.;

Resolution

This is a bug and it affects Next Execution URLs that are defined for auto group operations in the Scheduled Operations portlet. The issue has been reported in the This content is not included.Red Hat Bugzilla 1202760 and it will be fixed in a future releases of JBoss ON.

Until above bug is fixed, to see the View Operation Schedule page, navigate to the auto group and its Operations -> Schedules page and then to click on the operation name.
