Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)

Issue

  • How to modify the DLM hash table sizes in RHEL7 cluster to increase the performance of my GFS/GFS2 filesystem?

Resolution

  • Due to changes in RHEL7 dlm configuration, changes to hash table is not required.
    There would be only one file seen in RHEL7 clusters and it does not require modification/changes.
