Issue

  • I am trying to add an event-triggered alert for JBossAS7 Server, but the event option is missing from the drop down menu.
  • Missing "Event Detection" option from the "Condition Type" drop down list when trying to create an alert.

Resolution

This is a bug and it has been reported in the This content is not included.Red Hat Bugzilla 1298144.

In JBoss ON 3.3.0, "Event Detection" option is not enabled by default. Navigating to the EAP 6 standalone/domain instance in JBoss ON UI will enable this option.

**Note:" Every time JBoss ON Server is restarted, "Event Detection" option will be disabled again (not visible for Alert Definition Templates).
