Unable to view all the datasources in JBoss EAP 6.4 management console
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 6.4 CP02
- 6.4 CP03
Issue
- Unable to view all the datasources in JBoss Admin Console. We have created around 15 datasources in jboss . But when we check the number of datasources in Jboss Admin console only 5 datasources are visible. Please let us know if there is any setting that needs to be enabled to view the all the datasources.
- We would like to test all the XA datasource configurations using test connection through web console. We defined 6 XA datasources with enabled=true. We saw all of them bound to the JNDI tree in the server log and the web console configuration tab as well. However, only 5 of them showed up in the runtime tab of the XA datasource so we could not test the missing one.
Resolution
- As a workaround, you can click on a datasource and then use the keyboard arrow keys to scroll, or use the mouse wheel to scroll (the data is there, it's just missing a scroll bar).
- This issue is fixed in JBoss EAP 6.4 CP04, please apply the latest cumulative patch.
