Spring start up spends excessive time in dependency resolution

Issue

We're trying to migrate our spring application to EAP 6, but its deployment stalls and appears to be spending excessive amounts of time in dependency resolution:

Getting TimeoutException like below while deploying spring application in JBoss EAP 6.4 and in application I am trying to use Spring TaskExecutor.

java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException: java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException

Resolution

Ensure any datasource, mail sessions, etc. used by your spring beans are properly configured and that the jndi look up is correct to find them successfully.

Root Cause

Spring bean resolution keeps hitting and supressing some exception, such as a NameNotFoundException looking up a datasource

Diagnostic Steps

Capture a heap dump at the time of the issue to check what the suppressed exceptions are. An OQL like the following will pull out the suppressed exception messages:

SELECT toString(detailMessage) FROM org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException

Check these BeanCreationException's cause field as well for javax.naming.NameNotFoundExceptions.
