Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 6.4.x

Issue

  • In testing JBoss 6.4.0 GA’s Domain Controller failover, we found an issue in the domain controller failover process in that the backup hostcontroller was missing the deployed content. It appears that the deploy content was cached initially but deleted after 10 minutes.
  • We noticed that cached deployments are deleted (domain/data/content) by host controller after 10 minutes from 1st start which we believe might be a bug.

Resolution

Apply JBoss EAP 6.4 Cumulative Patch (CP) 7 or later
