Issue

  • Unable to detect method to revert configuration to prior saved snapshot/configuration history
  • No JavaScript/CLI method to get configuration history
  • Need to revert existing configuration to prior version

Resolution

The necessary method to read a Configuration object from PluginConfigurationUpdate or ResourceConfigurationUpdate does not exist at this time.

Root Cause

The This content is not included.Resource.getPluginConfigurationUpdates and This content is not included.Resource.getResourceConfigurationUpdates methods provide a list of configuration update identifiers for applied plug-in and resource configuration, respectively. However, there is no methods in the This content is not included.ConfigurationManagerRemote interface which allows the user to retrieve the actual Configuration objects.
